REIMAGINING MATERIALS TO CREATE UNIQUE FURNITURE DESIGNS

At Lone Pine Hill, we make every effort to breath new life into our materials and carefully handpicking pieces to realize our vision. We trust that you find our one-of-a-kind pieces a striking addition to any setting.

HANDCRAFTED FROM RECLAIMED AND LOCALLY SOURCED MATERIALS

We take pride in using reclaimed materials and locally sourced lumber from eastern Ontario in the crafting of our furniture. This not only gives our work its distinctive character but also helps reduce our impact on the environment.

Our lumber is often sourced from 200-year-old barn teardowns or fallen trees. Our preference is always to source our lumber from within the community and not big box stores.

PERSONALIZED APPROACH

Looking for a new dining table, an eye-catching bookshelf or anything in between, we work closely with our customers to create personalized furniture that meets their needs and style preferences. From the initial design to the final product, we ensure that you are involved throughout the process. Contact us with your design ideas or let us create a unique piece of furniture customized for your home or business.

About Us

We are a family business based near the village of Alexandria in eastern Ontario, not far from the Quebec border. Originally from Belgium, I lived in Toronto for 20 years before settling in the countryside.

After finishing high school, I worked for several years on major renovations projects before returning to school, eventually completing a post-graduate degree in social work. Throughout my studies, I made furniture and took on construction contracts to supplement my income. After 8 years as a social workers, however, I decided to pursue my long-held passion of working with wood on a full-time basis.

I thoroughly enjoy working with centennial and bi-centennial lumber, as it offers a glimpse of by-gone times. In creating original designs, I hope to re-instill the wood with a life that will be felt in your home.
